Gentry Chevrolet - Dunlap History

The two oldest new car dealers in the Chattanooga area became one on December 1, 2007 when Jim Gentry, of Gentry Chevrolet-Pontiac-Buick, Inc. signed an agreement to purchase Barker Chevrolet of Dunlap, TN. Gentry Chevrolet became 75 years old on July 27, 2007 and Barker Chevrolet turned 75 years old a month later.

Jim and Wanda's son, Tom Thomas will be President and General manager of the new Gentry Chevrolet in Dunlap, TN. Tom stated that Gentry Chevrolet of Dunlap is open for business in a new temporary location at 6078 Highway 28, across from Dunlap RV Center. He further stated the people of Sequatchie County and the surrounding area could look forward to the same level of service that Gentry Chevrolet-Pontiac-Buick in Kimball, TN is noted for.

The Gentry's invite everyone to come and see them in either the original location in Kimball, TN or the new temporary location in Dunlap, TN.
